Reclaimed Wood San Diego is fielding commercial inquiries for an incoming California salvage timber allocation of up to 6 million board feet of Red fir, White fir, cedar, and white oak. The broader commercial species catalog is separate from this allocation. All volumes, species identification, grades, dimensions, and schedules are subject to specifications, recovery, and availability.
Master Species & Grade Specifications is a planning reference, not a stock list or grade certificate. Logs, cants, and rough-sawn timber are evaluated by quote. Buyers specify green or dried moisture targets, section dimensions, lengths, tolerances, and grade standards. Actual moisture, recovery, and any required structural grading must be confirmed in writing.
The Wholesale RFQ accepts volume requests of <50k BF, 50k-200k BF, 200k-1M BF, or 2M+ BF Master Allocation, delivery port or destination, preferred FOB/CIF/EXW terms, requested Letter of Credit/Wire/TT/Escrow payment, and a target staging date. Requests are non-binding and subject to written acceptance.
Compliance & Spec Download offers sample USDA phytosanitary preparation worksheets, ISPM 15 heat-treatment log templates, and Master Commercial Terms discussion drafts. These are samples, not valid shipment documents or certifications. ISPM 15 addresses wood packaging, not blanket certification of timber.
Commercial Sales Inquiries: (619) 269-3036. Request a Commercial Export Quote using the RFQ form to save requirements and trigger dedicated export inquiry alerts; phone calls are a separate contact channel.
We review domestic bulk-log and structural-cant inquiries as well as international container-freight requirements. Buyers should provide the destination, species, target dimensions or log specifications, grade or end use, estimated volume, delivery schedule, and preferred commercial terms so the team can evaluate fit and availability.
Port of San Diego and Port of Long Beach routing, along with FOB or CIF terms, may be considered for planning purposes. Port selection, freight capacity, routing, pricing, insurance, and final Incoterms remain subject to confirmation by the seller, carriers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties.
Destination-specific phytosanitary and ISPM 15 requirements can be reviewed during inquiry planning. Treatment, inspection, documentation, admissibility, and certifications are not guaranteed and must be confirmed for the particular material, packaging, shipment, and destination before contracting.
For current salvage-timber background and domestic wholesale information, review the California Forestry Salvage page. To discuss a commercial or export requirement, contact the team with your specifications and destination.
The incoming six million board-foot allocation consists of Red fir, White fir, cedar, and white oak; the broader species catalog is separate from that allocation. Incense Cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) and California White Oak (Quercus lobata) are California-native species. Red Ironbark (Eucalyptus sideroxylon) is native to Australia, is commonly planted in residential landscapes, and is occasionally received locally in San Diego. California-sourced salvage does not mean California-native. Species identification and availability are confirmed for each order.
